Who We Are
The Galway Waterways Foundation (GWF) is a Rivers Trust Incorporated located in Ireland as a non-profit company limited by guarantee. Our members are the users of Galway’s rivers and canal and those interested in their health and well-being. Our mission is to celebrate, preserve and enhance Galway’s waterways.
What We Do
Community
We provide education and informaiton while encouraging involvement and participation from the community.
Partnership
The GWF partners with a number of responsible agencies.
Balance
The Galway Waterways Foundation provides balance for the conflicting interests of users, neighbours and activists.
